Run For Chickens is a Multi-city / Multi-state fundraising program. Runners, Walkers, and Volunteers can engage friends and family to sponsor them to participate in one of 120+ races all over the world.  Proceeds go toward funding sustainable community vitalization projects, like chicken hatcheries, this year’s national focus. From Dublin Ireland to Léogâne Haiti, to Phnom Penh Cambodia the miles run will have a lasting impact. Join Brookdale Longmont this weekend as they take you through a tour of senior living environments in Longmont. There will be drinks and food provided and lots of fun activities to take part of.

Longmont Earth Day Celebration, Saturday, April 21, 2018, 10 a.m.

Join the Longmont Museum and Cultural center for the 4th annual Longmont Earth Day Celebration. This year's event will feature an expo of more than 20 local environmental education booths, performances, talks and films to educate and inspire taking care of our plant. This family-friendly event will also have hands-on arts and crafts activities made from recycled materials. Samples Bistro, Highland Creamery and Sol Coffee will provide food and beverages outside the museum all day.
