Boulder County DA's Office holding virtual town hall on elder abuse

June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Elder abuse happens locally in Boulder County. In 2019, there were over 1,500 calls to Boulder County Adult Protective Services reporting concerns about an at-risk adult.

These referrals are often made by professionals working with older adults, but we can all participate in recognizing and preventing elder abuse.

You are invited to attend a virtual town hall meeting presented by the District Attorney’s Office, featuring a panel of local experts who will explain what elder abuse is and how we can help prevent it. Click here to join the virtual townhall through Microsoft Teams at the designated time.
