Capital project funds working groups

The State of Colorado wants to partner with stakeholders in preparation for applying for these funds in September 2022

Are you a broadband champion, policy maker, local government, utility or service provider, community anchor institution, or community leader? 

The Colorado Broadband Office is kicking off our Capital Projects Fund planning by looking for partners in each of the planning and management regions in the state to help facilitate working group sessions in order to identify projects for funding provided by the U.S. Treasury. The State of Colorado wants to partner with stakeholders in preparation for applying for these funds in September 2022. In order to successfully apply and receive these funds on behalf of our communities, the sessions will focus on:

  1. Identifying current and future broadband needs, especially in critical needs locations and underserved areas
  2. Capturing information about current or future projects and investment in your areas
  3. Identifying and matching projects to funding sources based on eligibility 
  4. Outlining next steps for community engagement from the Colorado Broadband Office

These meetings are invite-only and will not be recorded.
