Visit the Longmont Library this month for a diverse range of FREE events, programs and more!
Annual PEEPs Diorama Exhibit
HAND IN: March 14 - 21
ON DISPLAY: March 22 - 29
Create a literary-themed diorama with PEEPs and enter it into this year's exhibit! You can enter in one of three categories:
- Adult (ages 14 and older)
- Tween (ages 9-13)
- Kids (age 8 and younger)
Each diorama will be entered into a drawing for three prizes (one for each category). Entry forms can be picked up at the Library or.downloaded and printed.
Spring Break Programs for Kids & Teens
Sunday, March 17
- 2-2:30 pm: Kids' Creative Movement Class with Anima Arts, Library Meeting Rooms
Tuesday, March 19
- 1-2 pm: Teens: Soothe Your Stress, Library Teen Space (exclusive to 6th-12th graders)
- 2-3 pm: Pokémon Spring Break, Library Meeting Rooms (exclusive to 3rd-5th graders)
Wednesday, March 20
- 5-6 pm: Teen Anime Club, Library Teen Space (exclusive to 6th-12th graders)
- 6-7 pm: Tween Video Gaming Club, Library Meeting Rooms (exclusive to 3rd-5th graders)
Thursday, March 21
- 4-5 pm: Tween Club: Mario Kart Tournament, Library Meeting Rooms (exclusive to 3rd-5th graders; registration required at bit.ly/LibTeenEvents)
- 6-7:30 pm: Film Screening of “Just Us: The Longing and Hope of LGBTQ People”, City Council Chambers, Civic Center, 350 Kimbark St. (recommended for teenagers and older; registration required at bit.ly/LibAdults)
Friday, March 22
- 1-3 pm: Spring Break Open LEGO Build!, Library Meeting Rooms (exclusive for kindergartners-5th graders)
Sunday, March 24
- 2-3 pm: A Solar Eclipse with Fiske Planetarium, Library Meeting Rooms and Library West Patio
