Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce workers compensation safety group program is proud to announce it is receiving a group dividend of $308,806 from Colorado’s largest workers compensation insurer Pinnacol Assurance for its 2018 policy period.

Safety group policyholders who contributed to the overall success of the group will receive a portion of the dividend.

The safety program is a partnership dating back to 1996 between the Chamber, Pinnacol Assurance and endorsed Chamber-member brokers, currently Ewing-Leavitt Insurance, Peak Insurance Group and  TrueNorth Insurance & Financial Strategies.  The program provides safety training, materials and individualized service from a Pinnacol customer-focused service team in an effort to improve workplace safety.

Scott Cook, CEO of the Longmont Chamber, said, “The Chamber is pleased to have a long-standing relationship with Pinnacol Assurance. Through our safety group program, business owners save money and employees enjoy safer working environments. Dividends are an added bonus, and now more than ever during this crisis, it’s exciting to see one of the largest dividends ever being returned to our local businesses.”

Brian O’Hanlon, Risk Management Specialist with TrueNorth, remarked, “In my 25 years of involvement with the Longmont Chamber Safety Group Program, I think this is the second largest Dividend ever returned to Policy Holders in our Safety Group.  This is clear evidence that employers in the Safety Group are working hard to maintain safe workplaces”.
