NextLight has increased upload speeds and cut prices on several of its commercial offerings, providing symmetrical speeds to business customers at a more competitive price than ever.

The new rate structure offers five tiers of commercial service, all with matching upload and download speeds: 25 megabit, 50 megabit, 100 megabit, 250 megabit, and one gigabit.

Monthly prices for most of the commercial rates have been reduced, including a 25% price cut for the commercial symmetrical gigabit service. NextLight Executive Director Valerie Dodd emphasized that these are not temporary promotional prices.

“As a community-owned internet service, we want to do our part to make Longmont thrive by giving our city’s businesses the tools to succeed,” Dodd said. “In challenging times when fast connections have become more important than ever, we’re working hard to make sure our business community has access to the best speeds and the best value in Longmont.”

The new tiers take effect Aug. 1 and can be found online at mynextlight.com under “Commercial Rates and Services.”

This year has also seen NextLight introduce special rates for low-income residential customers and for households struggling with the effects of COVID-19.

In June, NextLight was rated as one of the fastest ISPs in the nation by PC Magazine for the third straight year, as well as the fastest ISP in the Northwest Region.
