'Say Hello' returns to the Longmont Library, virtually

A year ago, the Longmont Public Library was forced to abruptly cancel all its programming while staff took a step back and figure out which programs could be moved online and how that might be accomplished.

In the months since, most programs have returned, some with minor changes, in an online format, and patrons can add one more to that list this Saturday.

“Say Hello! English Conversation Group” will be held via Webex every Saturday from 11 am to 12 pm, beginning April 3. The group provides a fun, friendly, non-judgmental space for English language learners to practice conversational English with each other. 

Conversations are conducted entirely in English and guided by a native English speaker. It’s recommended that participants have at least an intermediate level of English proficiency, but all are warmly welcomed.
