September is Falls Prevention Month

Did you know that falling is NOT a normal part of aging? 

Boulder County Area Agency on Aging is committed to empowering all older adults in Boulder County to age well, and that includes avoiding falls. 

Falls remain a leading cause of injury for people aged 65 and older. Falls threaten older adults’ safety and independence and generate enormous economic and personal costs. 

Join the Boulder County Partners for Falls Prevention to learn how to prevent falls from a variety of experts. We are offering events for the entire month of September!

• Where: Various locations in Boulder County and virtually on Zoom  

• Cost: Free at most locations
