I am writing in support of Shiquita Yarbrough as a candidate for Longmont City Council. Shiquita has shown such leadership and talent in her many years working for the betterment of our community in all her roles and for all people.  Her experience as a member of the League of Women Voters and her work as Director of Community Engagement and Equity with the YWCA will be invaluable in helping to shape the future of Longmont.

I have personally seen Shiquita competently and professionally lead meetings, bring people together to positively impact our communities and just be a reasonable, consensus-building leader.  Her visionary ideas and commitment to housing affordability and accessibility, transportation, renewable energy and equity issues will be such an asset to council. Please vote for Shaquita for Longmont City Council.
