County Attorney’s Office and Commissioners’ Office:  Proposed 2018 Boulder County BallotIssue; The Commissioners are considering replacing the .185% Flood Sales Tax, which expires in 2020, with a sales tax of the same value for the purpose of building an alternative sentencing facility and modernizing the Boulder County Jail. This new tax  will not increase the current County Sales Tax; under this proposal, the new .185% tax will remain in place until 2025, when it will expire.
