Boulder County Parks & Open Space seeks museum volunteers

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space is now accepting applications for volunteers to work at the Nederland Mining Museum and James F. Bailey Assay Office Museum.

Volunteers welcome visitors to the museums, teach them about the mining history of Boulder County, and answer questions about the museum collections and local area.

Training will also prepare volunteers to lead educational programs for organized groups, such as schools, senior centers, and interest groups.

Hours vary by location but are approximately 5-6 hours per month from May through October.

Application deadline is April 15.Training takes place April 29.
