Boulder County Elections will host a job fair today from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office, 1750 33rd Street, Boulder.
According to a press release, the positions available are "a variety of short-term, election
positions. Positions include ballot processing, computer operators, courier,
and ballot reception jobs."
The dates of work vary depending on the position acquired. "Some positions start in early-mid October and run through the General Election, Tuesday, Nov. 6. Other positions may
only require a 2-3 day commitment," states a press release.
Participants are encouraged to bring copies of your resume, however, they are not required.
YES! Ambassadors Dyslexia Event
"Dyslexia Learning Ally’s YES! Ambassadors are a group of middle and high school volunteers with dyslexia who speak about their learning differences, self-advocacy and assistive technologies," states an event announcement.
The YES! Ambassador event will take place on Tuesday, September 18 from 4:30-6 p.m. at Westview Middle School, located at 1651 Airport Rd, Longmont.
According to the announcement, "You will walk away with instructional and accommodation tools to use the very next day."
