HOPE is hosting their Fifth Annual Celebrate HOPE benefit on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at The St. Vrain, located at 635 3rd Avenue, Longmont. The event will be hosted by retired Denver Bronco, Reggie Rivers.

According to Lisa Searchinger, executive director of HOPE, "Celebrating HOPE, started early in the organization's life as a donor appreciation lunch and expanded each year in step with HOPE's growth trajectory."

"All proceeds from this fun fundraising event go directly to programs that provide life-sustaining and supportive services to the most vulnerable members of our community," says Searchinger. Some of the programs benefited by Celebrate HOPE include:

  • Day and nightime Street Outreach - A program designed to meet people where they are located and provides food, basic supplies and connects people with services.
  • Nightime Navigation - This program assists with providing overnight shelter November-April, case management, showers, laundry, storage and a home-cooked communal meal.
  • Emergency Assistance Program - A program offering many services. One of the highlighted services is Medical Respite. This allows those suffering from homelessness a safe place to recover.

HOPE feels that, "illness or injury does not have to disrupt a homeless person's progress toward self-sufficiency. By offering appropriate care and referral of patients to post recovery treatment and/or housing, this program is an important bridge supporting people without homes to begin or continue on the path to stability and ultimately, self-sufficiency," according to Searchinger.

The event will include silent and live auctions and drawing for prizes. The live auction will include items such as:

  • Week-long Burgundy Wine Experience for two
  • Five nights stay in a two bedroom villa in the New Westin in Los Cabos
  • Hall of Fame Dinner for Four at the Chophouse with Retired Denver Bronco Randy Gradishar
  • Two nights at a ski-in ski-out Keystone Condo
  • Four premium tickets to  Pink's Beautiful Trauma World Tour in April, 2019
