The St. Vrain Valley School district cancelled all after school activities due to a forecast of inclement weather.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning along the Front Range early this morning in which it predicted the area would receive 7 to 11 inches of snow to begin falling around 5 p.m.
The school activity cancellation includes athletic practices, home and away games, extracurricular activities, childcare and school/community events.
Community Schools and Wraparound services will also be closed. The programs will remain open until all students are able to be picked up.
No decision has been made concerning how students will report to school on Wednesday. SVVSD reports it will monitor conditions closely before making a decision.
