The St. Vrain Valley Board of Education voted on Wednesday night to amend the construction manager/general contractor contract with Golden Triangle Construction, Inc., for the Niwot Elementary renovation project.
According to board documents, $723,800 will be spent on plumbing upgrades in classrooms, an interior corridor update, and a secure office entry remodel.
Brian Lamer, the assistant superintendent of operations, will also be allowed to, in accordance with Board of Education policy, sign contract documents and initial scope changes as needed.
Golden Triangle Construction, Inc. is, according to their website, a full-service, commercial general contractor. Their principal office is located in Longmont.
