The St. Vrain Valley School District added three administrators during the school board meeting on Wednesday.

The board unanimously approved the hiring of an area assistant superintendent, dean of students at Mead High School and dean of students at Timberline PK-8.

Karla Allenbach was named the area assistant superintendent and comes to St. Vrain from Mapleton Public Schools, where she currently serves as deputy superintendent focusing on leadership development and school improvement. She has been at Mapleton since 2000, working as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, director, executive director and assistant superintendent.

“It will be a pleasure to join a team and a school district that has such a reputation of innovation in public settings,” Allenbach said. “I am thrilled to have this opportunity.”

Lindsey Chastain, currently an English teacher at Mead High School, has been hired as the dean of students for the school. She has been in St. Vrain since 2016, previously teaching language arts in the Jefferson County School District and working as a paraprofessional in the Poudre School District.

“I’m really excited to not only go into leadership but remain here in St. Vrain Valley School District,” Chastain said. “I couldn’t be happier just to continue my career.”

The third administrative hire of the night was Allison Pramik, who was named dean of students at Timberline PK-8. Pramik has been serving as an instruction coach, social emotional learning specialist, instructional coach and academic interventionist in the Thompson School District since 2019, after five years in the district as a special education teacher.

“I’m very excited for this opportunity to join Timberline and support them in their work and dedication to students, staff and families at the school,” Pramik said.

The hires go into effect July 1.
