Longmont Startup Week is one of our community’s most popular gatherings!

Aimed at entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, investors, and talent, this free hybrid event takes place July 25 – 28, with virtual sessions held on Tuesday, July 26, through Thursday, July 28, from 2:30 to 8 p.m.

The virtual sessions – featuring panels, fireside chats, and solo presentations – promise to be as enlightening as they are empowering to those looking to take their startups to the next level.

Topics include a wide range of subjects such as cash flow and financing, creating a vision statement, and workarounds for navigating a challenging supply chain.

Presenters are noted local business leaders such as Andrew Matranga from Sticker Giant, Peter Adams from the Rockies Venture Club, Scott Sampl from Innosphere, and an entire team from Zebulon Solutions. You can register for the free event here.

There are also several in-person events throughout the week, beginning with a kick-off celebration on Monday, July 25 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. at Dry Land Distillers featuring live music and chef-inspired food.

In conjunction with Zoom Room activities, Tuesday through Thursday of Longmont Startup Week will feature in-person watch parties and networking events held at the Times Collaborative from 2:30 – 8 p.m. Fun, informative, and a great chance to mingle, these social events will also feature food and entertainment. The first 30 attendees for each evening’s cocktail hour at the Times Collaborative will receive a drink ticket.

“Every year Longmont Startup Week gets better and better,” said Dave Smith, director of client services at Avocet Communications, the local marketing agency in charge of managing the event. “For eight years Startup Week has been an educational resource to the entrepreneurs and innovators in not only Longmont, but all of Boulder County.

“We conducted an extensive review with past attendees to find out what they wanted for this year’s programming,” he continued. “Overwhelmingly, we heard that topics around innovation and creativity, funding and capital, and leadership and technology were top-of-mind. The presenters this year are outstanding; each session is a gold mine of information and takeaways aimed to not only inspire but to really make a difference in the aspirations of business leaders on all steps along the entrepreneurial journey.”
