Aaron Kent Patton was born on January 26, 1972, and passed away on January 16, 2023.
He was born to (David) Kent and Gail Patton in Hemet, California. He attended Winchester Elementary School, Acacia Middle School, and Hemet High School. Aaron was active throughout his youth in 4H, baseball, football, and team penning.
After graduating high school, he attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado where he obtained his master’s degree in microbiology. Aaron worked for many years in his field as a scientist for various biotech companies.
He enjoyed all the adventures that the Colorado outdoor life afforded him. He loved the outdoor life and sharing it with other people. He was passionate about hunting, and fishing, and would plan the most intricate details of his flyfishing adventures. Aaron also enjoyed playing guitar, singing, gardening, and ranching at the family ranch near Canon City, Colorado. He loved his boys beyond measure.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers (O. Robert Adams and David Uriah Patton), his grandmothers (Vena Patton and Nancy Adams), and his beloved mother (Gail Patton). He is survived by his two sons (Cole and Carter Patton), father (David Kent Patton), brother (Matt Patton), and sisters (Anita Dennison and Paige Hutchinson).
Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 4th at Grace Place Church, 375 Meadowlark Dr, Berthoud, CO 80513.
