Abel was born in Jalisco, Mexico to Armando and Petra Gonzalez. He emigrated to the United States and became a naturalized citizen to all the while, he remained proud of his Mexican heritage. A lover of the outdoors, Abel enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being one with nature. A beloved co-worker, Abel brought joy to those around him and took pride in his work. Abel is survived by his siblings Armando, Roberto, Irma, Alejandro, Miguel, Laura, Victor, and Karina Gonzalez. Abel leaves behind one daughter, Cassandra Mary Frances Gonzalez.
