Allen Alvarado 57, of Loveland died November 6, 2021 at Mckee Medical Center in Loveland.  He was born July 11, 1964 in Boulder, Colorado to Manuel Alvarado and Annie Alvarado.  Allen spent most of his childhood in Berthoud.  He grew up playing football and was a great wrestler.

After high school Mr. Alvarado started working in road construction for Flatiron Paving Co. and continued in that line of work for the remainder of his life, working also for Western Mobile, Lafarge, and EZ Excavating.  Allen was a hardworking man and very dedicated to his job.

Allen married Deanna Anderson September 4, 1990, after starting a family and having three children together.  He carried on his passion for wrestling with his sons and took on the task of coaching them in wrestling.  He was a great friend, coworker, brother, son, father, grandfather and husband.  He was a great man who was caring, thoughtful, sincere loving and would lend anyone a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife  Deanna Alvarado, daughter Alexis Alvarado and fiancée Alex, two sons Allen Alvarado Jr. and wife Kayleigh, and son Derek Alvarado and wife Mandy; mother Annie Alvarado; four brothers, Augie Alvarado, Andy Alvarado, Alex Alvarado and wife Beth, and Arnie Alvarado and wife Jennifer; four sisters Cathy Martinez and husband Tom, Margie Weitzel and husband Jeff, Angie Shepard, and Mary Blazter and husband Sean; and nine grandkids Hannah, Relina, Gabriel, Adrian, Dominick, Lilianna, Isabella, Alysiana, and Mia.

He was preceded in death by father Manuel Alvarado, and brother Tony Alvarado.

A visitation will take place Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Kibbey- Fishburn Funeral Home from 3-5 p.m.  A rosary service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 18 at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland, followed by a mass at 10 a.m.

Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Berthoud, followed by a lunch at Saint John's Catholic Church back in Loveland.
