Ann Elizabeth Washnock, 84, of Loveland, CO, died peacefully at home on June 21, 2022 surrounded by her family, and her faithful dog, Lucy and Gus, the cat.  She was born on February 17, 1938, in Akron, Ohio to Ernest and Helen (Schieber) Oyston. On September 19, 1959, she married William Washnock in Akron, OH. Ann and her family relocated to Loveland in 1981 from Medford Lakes, NJ. She was a career nurse, earning her RN in 1959. She worked in all aspects of nursing, including ED, OR, hospital floor, staff nurse, school nurse, Loveland Human Services Board, parish nurse, and supervisor of the Larimer County Maternity Program.

She loved giving back to others.   She was also an incredible volunteer from candy striper, troop leader, field trips, Sculpture in the Park, the Rialto, the Community Kitchen, an enthusiastic stamper for the Loveland Valentine Program, and for whomever else needed help. She was very active in her church playing in the bell choir, singing in the choir, on the Alter Guild, and a member of Daughters of the King. Ann was an avid quilter, birder, hiker, fisher, baker, reader, pianist, cyclist, traveler, and life-long learner.  She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Washnock, Loveland, CO, Julie Washnock (Anne Hayes), Fraser, CO, Elizabeth Washnock-Butler, Loveland CO, twin grandsons, William, and David Butler, Danvers, MA, and sister, Judi Mccort (Paul), Akron, OH. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, her second daughter, Jodi Lynn Washnock, and brother, William Oyston.

Requiem Eucharist will take place at 10:00 am, Friday, July 1st at All Saint's Episcopal Church, 3448 N. Taft Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538. Inurnment will take place at the church columbarium.  

Memorial contributions may be made to All Saint's Episcopal Church, House of Neighborly Service, National Kidney Foundation or Community Kitchen in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 N. Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537.
