FEBRUARY 26, 1947 – NOVEMBER 8, 2021
Arthur Harold Blood, age 74, went to sleep in Jesus on November 8, 2021. He was born in Denver, Colorado February 26, 1947, the son of Mary Elizabeth and Leroy Simeon Blood.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Eileen Carol Blood and his three children; Gary Bryan Blood, who resides with his family in Hagerstown, MD; Deborah Lynn Mettler, who resides with her family in Loveland, CO; Jeffrey Scott Blood, who resides with his family in Sacramento, CA and their six grandsons and one granddaughter.
Also, surviving Arthur are his five brothers and one sister - Charles, TN; Alvin, CO; Merle, KS; Bob, NE; Eleanor, CO; Calvin, KS.
Arthur was a Vietnam veteran serving as a medic. He received two bronze-star medals for heroism in ground combat and meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces.
Arthur loved Jesus with all his heart and his life certainly exemplified his love. He was a very compassionate, caring, kind, soft spoken, loving man. He was a man of few words, lots of jokes and laughter.
