Peltier, Barbara Helen, age 77 of Longmont and previously Westminster. Married to her husband Douglas for nearly 53 years, Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, friend, and dearest friend to many foster children. Barbara enjoyed many things, but she really had a heart for kids and art. She taught kids for many years at her church from VBS to Sunday school to kid’s church. She was also a foster parent to many young kids, some of whom kept in touch. She loved art, especially watercolors, drawing, teaching, decorating and shopping.  She completed the home stretch and went to be with her Lord on September 27th, 2021.  She was born on July 9th, 1944 to Veva (Shelton) McDevitt and James Ferris McDevitt in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robin, James and Stacey and her sister Nina. Barbara is survived by her husband Douglas Peltier, daughter Robin (Stan) Dirks and her four precious grandchildren Julia, Rebecca, Vivian and Alexander; brother Charles (Barbara) McDevitt, sisters Debra (Dennis) Wietecha, Edith (Wayne) Anstead, Kitty (Steve) Joiner and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 23rd, 2021 at Northglenn Christian Church located at 1800 E 105th Pl., Northglenn Co, 80233 at 11 a.m.
