Beverly LaVerne Card passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021. She was born August 19,1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Melvin Wayne Peters and Edythe Bostick Kilgore.

As a young girl she lived in Chicago, Texas, Monterey CA, and settled in Los Angeles.

Along with her best friend of many years, Dorothy Palazzo she graduated from Glendale High School in 1952.

Beverly worked as a beautician. She married her favorite marine, Gerald (Jerry) Paul Card on November 27,1955 In addition to raising her family she was active in the Moose Lodge, Lions Club, Air Force Mothers, Girl Scouts and at the San Gabriel Mission parish and elementary school.

She enjoyed traveling-visiting many National Parks, various road trips, Amtrak train trips and an Alaskan cruise.

She also enjoyed walking, gardening-especially her beloved rose garden and Sago Palms in CA, cooking, reading, her soap operas, music, theatre and in her later years her coloring books.

She moved to Colorado in 2013, living in Longmont and then being cared for at Brookdale Marianna Butte in Loveland.

Predeceased by her parents and her brother, Thomas Melvin Peters.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald Paul Card. Her children Christopher Jon Card, Tammy Ann Lindquist (Kurtis), Samantha Lynn Rodriguez (Manny) and grandchildren Krystal Flores (Ozzie), Nicole Card, Shaun Card, Amelie Rodriguez and Hannah Rodriguez.
