July 29, 1951 - September 17, 2021
An angel has been called home. Brent Royal Wells, 70, of Loveland Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on September 17th. He passed away at his private residence, with his wife by his side.
Brent attended Elkhart High School in his hometown of Elkhart Indiana. Brent was then drafted into the Army where he fought for his country and its freedom in the Vietnam War. After the war had ended, he then pursued numerous careers as a photographer, a car salesman, and most recently in construction. He was known as a jack of all trades. In his spare time he loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family or just tinkering around the house.
Brent was a kind and loving partner to his spouse Diane of 47 years, as well as an amazing father to their three daughters. A human life is a collection of stories. If you asked a hundred people who Brent Royal Wells was, they would all give you a different story. An avid hunter. A superhero. A fisherman. A soulmate. A shining star in the darkness. A storyteller. Brent was perhaps all of these things and so much more. But...no matter what he was to you, the consensus was always the same. Brent was one of a kind, genuine, a rare gem in all the rubble, and one of the greatest men that anyone had the honor to know.
Brent is survived by his wife Diane Wells; daughters Susie Wells and Peggy Wells; grandchildren Sonja Hernandez, Tamaralyn Wells, and Logan Belden; and great grandchildren Kaleb Wells, Darion Hernandez, and Lilliana Hernandez. As well as a large extended family. Brent was preceded in death by his parents Ethel Wells and Royal Wells; his daughter Rosemary Rodgers; and his son Brent Wells. The family will be holding a private funeral service.
- Until we meet again, when our story can continue…..
