Born on May 2, 1947, at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, New York, Brunhilda (Brunie) Robles, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 17, 2023, in Broomfield, Colorado, surrounded by her loved ones.

Brunie is survived by her devoted wife, Eulalia Gener, her loving mother, Mildred Velez, her cherished brother and sister-in-law, Fernando and Nai Velez, her stepdaughter and son-in-law, Maritza and Jon Jaggers, her stepson and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Jennifer Fernandez, and a multitude of cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her legacy is marked not only by her familial ties but also by the deep and lasting connections she forged throughout her life.

A graduate of Pace University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972, Brunie embarked on a distinguished career in finance. She started in the file room but quickly ascended the ranks, ultimately becoming a Financial Controller at Qualex, a subsidiary of Kodak. Her career led her to various corners of the United States, from Florida to Texas, California to Washington, Puerto Rico to North Carolina. Her professionalism, dedication, and leadership left an indelible mark on her colleagues and peers.

Brunie retired gracefully at the age of 62, having achieved remarkable success in her field. However, her true treasure lay in her family. She and her beloved wife, Eulalia, shared a 45-year journey of love, commitment, and unwavering support. Their enduring partnership was an inspiration to all who knew them.

In 2017, Brunie and Eulalia decided to make a home in Broomfield, Colorado, to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Their bond with family was unwavering, and they cherished every moment spent together.

Brunie was renowned for her infectious joy, love of music, and her ability to light up any gathering. She was undeniably the life of the party, bringing smiles and laughter wherever she went. Her warm and welcoming presence made every moment spent with her a cherished memory.

As we mourn the loss of Brunie Robles, we also celebrate the beautiful life she led and the profound impact she had on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on through the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the legacy of kindness and warmth she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Brunie's memory to Alzheimer's Foundation.

A memorial service to honor Brunie's life will be held on Thursday, September 21st at the Rundus Funeral Home in Broomfield, Colorado. A viewing will be held at 2:00pm, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 3:00pm.
