NOVEMBER 2, 1955 – JANUARY 21, 2022
Carroll Ann Moore, 66, of Craig, CO, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. Born in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of the late Vernon A. and Elizabeth L. Phillips. Carroll graduated from Alton High School, the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Adams State University with a Master of Arts in School Counseling. While in high school, Carroll met and later married Brad Moore.
Carroll was a Registered Nurse and Education Director at the Memorial Hospital in Craig, CO. She continued her career as School Nurse and High School Guidance Counselor for the Moffat County School District, Craig, CO. Carroll filled many roles as a nurse but was especially fond of Obstetrics and helped many newborns enter this world. She continued her role as school nurse and later as a Guidance Counselor offering students social, emotional, and educational support. Carroll was a positive force in the lives of those she touched.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years; children, Parker (Jillian), Kellan (Erica), and Kiera (Riley); two grandchildren; sister, Jean Marks, nephew, Charles (Crystal) Marks; and her beloved four legged friend, Winston. Carroll was able to spend time with Brad, Parker, Kellan and Kiera before her death. She was surrounded with love and was at peace as she left this world. Carroll remains in our hearts and minds for all time.
Carroll is predeceased by her parents.
A Celebration of Carroll’s life will be held at a later date.
