Charles Geoffrey “Jeff” McClain was born in Saint Mary’s Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rose Margaret Sheridan and James Edward McClain and sisters Delores Stefano (Gene), Rosemary Volker, and Celeste Bennett and brothers Joseph McClain (Patricia), Gerald McClain (Helen) , and James McClain (Alice). He is survived by his daughter, Lynette Gail McClain of Longmont, son Craig Jeffrey McClain of Aurora, grandchildren Quentin Charles Carlson of Longmont, Christopher McClain Carlson and wife Iriana of Wilmington, North Carolina, Bailey Lyn Carlson of Denver, Travis Michael McClain and wife Stacia of Fort Collins, Jessica Ann McClain of Denver, Amanda Beth McClain of Denver, Elizabeth Anne McClain of Aurora, great-grandsons Jackie Kye Williams, of Aurora and Wenston Curtis Williams of Aurora, Malachi Michael Saavedra of Aurora and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeff served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he was a volunteer for the Aurora Fire Department. He taught high school math at the Cherry Creek School District and coached wrestling for over 30 years.
