Charles Smart Jr. died on May 14, 2022, at Foothills Hospital, Boulder Colorado. He was 62 years old. Chuck was born on December 23, 1959 and spent his childhood growing up in Lousiville and Broomfield, Colorado. He worked in the construction industry doing various jobs on and off throughout his life. Chuck enjoyed fishing, watching the Denver Broncos and spending time with friends.
He is survived by his mother, Adrienne Kupfner, his father and stepmother Chuck and Nancy Mattorano, his sister Monica Lewis (Kevin), sister Pamela Mattorano, brother Robert Kupfner Jr. (Pam) and sister Jodi Stringfellow (Philip) along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Chuck is also survived by his longtime girlfriend Jo Britton and stepchildren Shylo, Heather, and Anthony.
Chuck was preceded in death by his stepfather Robert Lee Kupfner Sr., his grandmothers Esther Delforge and Jennie Sankey, Grandfather Pete Mattorano and Grandparents George and Dorothy Kupfner. His stepchildren Brandy and Stephanie also proceeded him in death.
Private services will be held.
