MAY 21, 1948 – OCTOBER 23, 2023

Our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister Cynthia Ann Overturf, known to most as "Cindy", entered into God’s Kingdom on October 23, 2023 at the age of 75. She passed away peacefully at home following a short battle with bone cancer and COPD.

Cindy was born on May 21, 1948, to Alma M. Gibson in Jackson, Michigan. It was on that day, that the world gained a beautiful, loving and caring soul. After completing her GED, she went on to study and become a CNA. She worked for North Shore Manor, where she loved to care for her residents with a smile every day. After retiring in 2000, Cindy spent her time crocheting, quilting, and making dolls. Her dolls and quilting projects are proudly displayed all over the house for all to see.

In 1969, Cindy met the love of her life, Robert M. Overturf. Theirs was a match truly made in heaven. They married on July 23rd, 1971 and remained happily so until the day of her passing. Cindy & Robert went on to have four children: Paula, Joann, Michael and Alice. Unfortunately, Joann and Michael left this world too early in life. Cindy has five grandchildren: Cynda, Amber, Chelsea, Desiree; and many great grandchildren.

Cindy was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. She was an avid member of The Loveland Church of the Nazarene. Cindy loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. She enjoyed bringing her grandchildren to church activities like Easter Marketplace, and VBS. Her heart was full when she got her youngest daughter Alice and family to start going to church.

Cindy joins her heavenly family now. She was welcomed at the Gate by Michael, Joann, Aunt Lilly, and her mother, Alma.

Though you may be in heaven now, we know that you are watching over us, still sharing your love and memories with us. Knowing that brings us comfort and we will continue to love and remember you for our remaining days here on earth. With all the love we have to offer, and until we meet again in heaven, rest easy dear Wife, Sister, Mom, and Grandma, Cynthia Ann Overturf.

Cindy will be laid to eternal rest at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her Graveside Service will take place on Friday, October 27th, 2023 at 1:00pm. Treasured memories of Cindy and words of condolence for her family are welcome at www.resthavencolorado.com.
