Dan Coontz, 75, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 with his family by his side.
Born July 6, 1945 in Burlington, Iowa, he was the son of Clayton and Helen Coontz. He married Patricia (Faris) Coontz on October 5, 1968.
Dan worked in the building supply industry since moving to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1983 from Mediapolis, Iowa.
Dan loved to fish from his float tube in beautiful, high country Colorado lakes. He enjoyed golfing and playing poker with his friends. But most of all, he loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Faris) Coontz; two sons, Jason (Samantha) Coontz and Chad (Robin) Coontz; four grandchildren, Blake Coontz, Calgary Wies, Tess Coontz and Ellery Coontz; three sisters; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
