Daniel Carter Evans was born August 11 1965 to Ellen Marie Evans and Joseph W Evans in Broomfield CO.

He died peacefully at home May 29 2021 in Longmont CO. He was 55. He was baptized at Hope Lutheran Church in Broomfield. The family moved to Boulder CO in 1974 where he most of his life until moving to Longmont in 2004. He is survived by his wife Patricia Jane Vielehr, cats Tootsie and Mr. Red. Mother Ellen Evans, sister Laura Lee Collins (Scott) brother Raymond Einer Evans. Nephews: Daniel James Evans ( Heather) and Daniel Scott Collins. Nieces: Madison Lee Collins and Samantha Evans. He is joining his father Joe, nephew Joey Evans and in laws Jane and Chuck Vielehr who loved him dearly in heaven.

He has many cousins many who many live in Virginia and was very close to his second cousin Donia Henderson in Colorado. He married Patti on Aug 31 2002 in Berthoud, CO He went to Emerald and Crestview Elementary schools, Centennial Jr. High and graduated from Boulder High School in1984. Continued some education at Community College. He was employed at Spiral Designs Inc. for many years as a machinist. Dan was a devoted Boy Scott. He loved the mountains and adventure. He had some knowledge of almost everything. He was a golfer, a fisherman, a tinkerer and a Star Trek fan. Dan was a gentle soul with a big heart. His curiosity was infectious, his laugh followed him wherever he went.

He was always striving to help others and had many friends. He was always willing to lend a hand and put a smile on someone’s face, even if it was a corney joke. His sweet and shinny eyes are like the stars above Colorado. He was loving and affectionate to all and his kind heart will be greatly missed. God Bless You Danny Boy.
