David Chale Richardson, 62, of Burlington, CO passed away, Sunday, August 27th, 2023, surrounded by his wife and children. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 PM, Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at the Rocket Park in Burlington, CO.

David was born August 20th, 1961, in Durango, CO. He was adopted by Wilbur Richardson and Delores Richardson, Burlington, CO. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1979. On October 19, 1992, he married his former partner Kristina Richardson in Burlington, CO. They later moved to Denver, CO and years later they welcomed their first child Joseph Richardson. After moving back to Burlington, CO they then welcomed their second child, Elaina Richardson.

David was employed and managed many businesses growing up. David held many titles in his life, from a hard-working businessman to a musician, but his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his adult children, Joseph and Elaina. He was always there for them, whether he was helping them build a life of their own, building RC cars, or cheering them on at their collegiate games. David was a hard-working parts manager for Burlington Ford and Lincoln. He spent most of his weekends playing the drums for a rock band, “The Ugly Truth”. He also enjoyed his afternoon naps, college game days, and spending time with friends, family, and his fur babies whenever he could.

David is survived by his son Joseph Richardson, his daughter Elaina Richardson, his wife Kristina Richardson, his brother Tim Richardson/ Tims family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Richardson, Delores Richardson, and his sister Marilyn Long.
