David Campbell, a resident of Loveland passed away on November 9th 2022 at McKee Hospital in Loveland.

His bout with cancer was short, and his passing came too quickly. At 77, he was active in the community including as a member of the Salvation Army Board. The growing number of bell-ringers in the Loveland community during the annual campaign was largely due to his effort. He was a volunteer in other efforts, as well.

A good man, father and husband, he led a life of purpose.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he attended parochial schools and was an A student throughout. He was accepted at Notre Dame University and ended a 7 year study program to graduate with a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from that University.

He founded a medical device company in Colorado that offered new technology to hospitals and medical clinics in a seven state region.

In retirement, he enjoyed traveling all over North America in an RV and watching the Fighting Irish continue their sporting successes.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn and his two sons, Alan and Kevin from a previous marriage and four grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church on Thursday, November 17th at 11AM.with a reception to follow the service in the church hall.

Please remember this wonderful man when the Salvation Army bells start ringing this season.
