October 29, 1932 - July 3, 2023
Delberdine “Debbie” Rickard was born on October 29, 1932, in Longmont, Colorado to Delbert and Dorothy Witham. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 3rd, 2023, at her home in Loveland following many years of coping with dementia.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kent Rickard, of Loveland, her three sons Gary, Neil, and Bret, five grandchildren, one sister, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law.
Debbie graduated from Rockmont College and then went on to earn a master's degree in music education from the University of North Texas. She taught elementary school music in Cherry Creek School District before she moved with her family to Loveland in 1977. She was a substitute music teacher in the Thompson School District for many years. She also taught private piano and violin lessons.
Debbie loved music and sang in her church choir, the Loveland Choral Society, and played violin in the Loveland Orchestra for many years. She was also a member of the Loveland Piano Teachers Association.
A memorial service will be held for Debbie at 11:00 a.m., August 4, 2023 at Faith Church: 2707 N. Wilson Avenue, Loveland.
