Her final job was cleaning houses for the elderly who needed her help. She always enjoyed visiting with the people that she helped and knowing about their families. Donna married the love of her life Donal Newberry (Don) on March 22, 1974. To which she became an instant mother to Don’s daughter Dana.

In September 1975 Donna and Don welcomed into their world their son Darrin.
