We regretfully announce that our beloved mother Dorothy Jean Komloski (Gale), 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Thornton, Colorado, on Friday, October 1, 2021. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother to five children. After Ben’s death in 1973, Jean spent 9 years in the Pacific Northwest, including Tigard, Oregon, and Montesano, Washington, before moving back to Colorado in 1985.

Jean was a long-time resident of Ft. Collins after her retirement in 1992, until she moved in with her daughter’s family in Thornton in 2012. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was an avid reader, great storyteller and conversationalist, with a big heart and sense of humor. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, sewing, and watching Family Feud.
