Dorothy Mae Patzel passed into the care of our Heavenly Father on November 23, 2021 at the age of 83.She was born in Loveland Colorado on February 1, 1938 to Moses E. and Helen L. Potter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Beverly Rhinebold, Kathryn Puritan, and Marie Blackford Her brothers Kenneth, James, Frank, Richard, and Alan Potter. Along with several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her brother Bob Potter of Manitou Springs, Colorado. Sisters-In-Law Mary Potter Simacek of Grand Island, Nebraska, and Kathleen Potter of Palmetto, Florida. Nieces Pamela Dodero, Erica Nowlin, Michelle Kingsley, and Kristen Potter. Nephews Wayne Potter and Kirk Wells
Dorothy became a Registered Nurse and worked in Labor and Delivery at Loveland Memorial Hospital until McKee Medical Center opened in 1976 where she worked until she retired, Dorothy never had any children of her own but always said she had so many because of all the babies she helped deliver.
Dorothy enjoyed reading, coloring, sewing, and cooking. She also enjoyed having lunch every month with her retired nurse friends.
Services are pending cremation has been conducted.
