We are sad to announce the passing of Dr. Clark Scriven of Broomfield, Colorado. He was 74 years old when he died peacefully on March 2nd, 2023.

 Clark was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He grew up in Nebraska and Colorado and graduated from Burlington High School. He then attended Colorado State University and The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Following his graduation in 1973, he served 2 years in the US Navy as a dentist at Camp Pendleton in California and then served in the reserves. After teaching at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry he settled in Sterling, Colorado where he practiced dentistry for 39 years. He was active in the community serving in the Chamber of Commerce, Community Theatre and Master Chorale. He was also involved in the Colorado Dental Association, NE Colorado Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and served on the Colorado State Parks Board. He retired to Broomfield to be closer to his beloved grandchildren. He loved to sing and watch his grand-daughters in all of their many activities.

 Clark is survived by his wife Diane Scriven of Broomfield, CO, daughters Erica (David) Derby of Broomfield, CO, Lacey (Kevin) Cashman of Jamesville, NY as well as grand-daughters Cora and Quinn Derby. He also leaves behind many brothers and sister in laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Romola Scriven as well as his sister Charlotte Scriven.

 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Broomfield Presbyterian Church, 350 Main Street, Broomfield, CO. A private burial service will take place at Ft. Logan Cemetery for family and close friends at a later date.
