Dwight Becker, 79, of Loveland, passed on April 11, 2022, peacefully at home. Dwight was born on October 11, 1942, in Loveland, Colorado to Henry Becker and Ethel Neville Becker. He grew up in Loveland and graduated from Loveland High School in 1960. He lived in Colorado most of his life with a brief time in Lufkin, Texas.
Dwight had many different careers in his life until he found his true calling in law enforcement. He served as a police officer and a detective for the City of Glendale Police Department. He eventually retired from police work and traveled around the country in a luxury fifth-wheel trailer with his close friend Patricia. When his traveling days ended, he returned to Colorado to be with his family and eventually settled back in Loveland.
He is survived by his son, Rod Becker, and wife, Gayle, of Keenesburg, Colorado; his son, Brian Becker, and wife, Sara, of Westminster, Colorado; his son, Stephen Becker, and wife, Julie, of Keenesburg, Colorado. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Becker, and his wife, Sherry, of Loveland; his sister, Linda Pharris, and husband, Jerry, of Loveland; his sister, Debbie Rhoades, of Greeley, Colorado. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Becker, and his brother, Jimmie Becker.
