In loving memory of Dylan Eugene Dorosz, beloved son of Derek and Julie Dorosz, and brother to Owen. Dylan was born on March 15th, 2006, in Lafayette, CO, and passed on February 22nd, 2024, in Loveland, CO.
In addition to his parents and his little brother, Dylan is survived by his beloved maternal grandparents, Ron and Mary Zenor, and his beloved paternal grandparents, Carol Austad, and Morgan Finnell. Also surviving are Dylan’s maternal aunts and uncles, Jessica and Ty Ford, and Jennifer and Timothy Dodd; paternal aunt and uncle, Amber and Brian Murphy; paternal aunt Julia Farkas; and cousins, Tehya, Elizabeth, Jasua, Jeriah, Miranda (Jeff), Cassandra, Rhianna, Dakota, Bailey, and Kyra.
Dylan was a senior at Loveland High School. He enjoyed snowboarding, camping, and fishing as well as many other outdoor activities. He also enjoyed practicing Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. He loved learning about other cultures and studied several foreign languages. He spent a great deal of time learning about tropical habitats and tending to the terrariums and vivariums he designed and maintained with great care. He enjoyed Anime books and films and was an active gamer with an extended community that will miss him.
Dylan is now fishing with his grandfather Eugene Dorosz, and great-grandfather Eugene “Papa” Dorosz, who precede him in death, along with other ancestors who will continue to embrace and love him until we see him again.
A Visitation Service will be held for Dylan on Wednesday, February 28th from 4pm-6pm at Resthaven Funeral Home in Fort Collins. Dylan's Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, February 29th at 10:30am.
