Eddy Phothisane passed away on September 30th, 2023 at 5:18am. He was taken off of life support after a catastrophic brain bleed and passed peacefully in the arms of his wife.
He was born on July 5th, 1985 in Longmont, Colorado to Tom and Amy Phothisane. Eddy is survived by his parents, wife, Erin Rhoades, and numerous aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
Eddy graduated from Bel-Rae Institute of Animal Technology in 2011. He spent over 12 years working as a Veterinary Technician in emergency and general practice clinics. With his tough guy exterior, Eddy never liked to admit how much he loved animals. He was always proud that he could get any animal to eat and cared for all of his patients like they were his own pets. He had a heart of gold that was reflected in his work and his personal life. He cared for his friends and family more than himself and would do anything for them.
Eddy loved to spread joy and laughter everywhere he went. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a laugh that could light up the darkest of rooms. His goal in life was to stay chill and laugh the stress away. The void he's leaving in this world is far too large. He will be missed by many.
