September 12, 1957 - August 18, 2021
Elbert L. Mathews Jr. 63, passed away August 18, 2021, in Ft. Collins, Colorado with family by his side. He was born in Leadville, CO and a longtime resident of Loveland, CO. Elbert served in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer Third Class, worked on oil rigs for a time, was a Supervisor at Colorado Steel and Wire, and co-operated High Country Commercial Cleaning. Along with parents Elbert Sr. and Lena, Elbert is preceded in death by his Stepfather Larry and siblings Debbie and Tim. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, June, children; Adrian (Brenda), Elbert Jo (Carrie) and Jeremiah (Kristine), 9 grandchildren; Mariah, Gabriel, D’Naya, D’Angelo, Kyle,Taylor, Caroline, Annalena and Daylon, 3 great-grandchildren; Zayden, Mila, and Kayla, siblings; Priscilla (Bruce), Penny (Jerry), Lawrence, Rhonda and Little Tim as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Elbert will be dearly missed. Thankfully there are many memories for family, friends and loved ones to cherish. The Mathews family truly appreciates all condolences, thoughts and prayers received during this time. A service will be held Thursday September 2nd at 10:30 at the following location:
