August 7, 1950 ~ December 28, 2020 (age 70)
Elisabeth Xuanhuong Shum, age 70, died while her husband David was by her side at Longmont United Hospital on 12/28/2020. She is survived by her loving husband, David, her two sons, Jonathan and Andrew, her sister Charlotte and her brother Tri, her granddaughters, Hannah, Karin and Jenna, as well as many extended family members in the United States and Vietnam. Born in Vietnam in 1950, Elisabeth immigrated to California in 1970 and moved to Colorado in 1982. Elisabeth was a caring mother and grandmother, who demonstrated her love through gifts and actions. She worked hard all of her life as a bank teller, postal clerk, small business owner, at retail stores, and most recently as a shuttle bus driver. She and her husband attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boulder, Colorado for many years. Her interests included: gardening, cooking, knitting, sudoku and playing games.
