Eveline Sahlieh, 87 of Broomfield, passed away October 19, 2020 at her home. Eveline was born May 5, 1933 in Bethlehem, Jordan to Choucri and Liza Martha. She grew up in Jaffa and married George Sahlieh on January 2, 1949 at the age of 15 ½ . She and George had eight children. Eveline was a loving wife and mother and excelled at being a homemaker. In 1980, Eveline and George immigrated to Bromfield, CO to be close to their family.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her loving husband, George. Eveline is survived by her children; Charly (Lucie) Sahlieh of Westminster, Amira Sais of Thornton, Choucri (Helen) Sahlia of Stockholm, Sweden, Zaki (Asma) Sahlieh of Broomfield, Rimona (Tony) Azar of Thornton, Louisette (Saman) Tamim of Broomfield, Henry (Valerie) Sahlieh of Broomfield and Elias (Maria) Sahlieh of Broomfield, eighteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22 with Rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Rundus Funeral Home. Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 23 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Broomfield County Commons Cemetery.
