February 26, 1927 - July 26, 2021

 Fay Helena Olbert passed peacefully at Serenity House, Green House Homes at Mirasol, early morning July 26, 2021.

   Fay was born at home in Gilmanton, WI February 26, 1927, to Lillian and Jule Zittel.  August 5, 1947, she married Curtis Olbert.  Curt and Fay lived in Mondovi, WI where they owned a construction company and raised their family.  In 1978 they moved to Menominee, WI and then spent retirement in AZ and Nekoosa, WI.  September 2000, she moved from Nekoosa, WI to Loveland, CO where she was a volunteer at McKee Hospital and an enthusiastically stamped Loveland valentines.  She had worked at rubber company during the war, a bank, owned an arcade, loved to entertain, was a low handicap golfer and baked bread from” heaven”.  As a mom she planted the seed of faith in her children and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Survivors include three children:  Kathy Loken (Lynn) Loveland, CO.; Steve Olbert (Pat) Frost Proof, Florida; Patty Olbert Guist, Duluth, MN; five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Curtis, brother Harold Zittel and granddaughter Laura Loken.

   The family wants to thank the staff at Mirasol and Peg Nelson, a faithful servant, from St John’s.

   Remember her with a full heart and thanksgiving.

   A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Cremation has been completed.  Inurnment will follow at Loveland Burial Park.  

   Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in care of Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home.
