Francisca “Francis” Garcia May 20th, 1929 – December 8th, 2021 Francis Garcia, 92 passed away Wednesday December 8th, 2021 in Windsor CO. She was born May 20th,1929 in Kingsville, Texas on the King Ranch to Delfino and Irene Hernandez who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is her husband Bentura Garcia, son Juan “John” Garcia, son Jimmie Garcia, son LeRoy Garcia and granddaughter Leslie Garcia. Frances married Bentura on August 27th, 1945 and started their family in Raymondville, Texas.
In 1953 they moved their family to Colorado. They settled in Johnstown/Milliken/Longmont area where they raised their 6 boys. Frances raised her boys while also helping work the fields in order to be able to cloth and buy their school supplies. In 1964 the family moved to town where Frances started working for Ball Brothers and Beach Aircraft in the electronic assembly department until her retirement. Frances is also survived by her sons, Benito “Bennie” [Graciela] Garcia, Delfino [Rachel] Garcia, Rudy [Rina] Garcia, daughter in law Frieda Garcia, 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and a special nephew Edward [Linda] Garcia. Frances loved to dance, joke around, and laugh. She was a great shopper and cook and will be remembered for being a very loving mother and grandmother.
