November 29, 1948 — December 26, 2023

Garret Allen Boetger age 75 of Centennial, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his home in Centennial.  He was born November 29, 1948 in Limon, Colorado and the son of Willard and Vera Boetger.  Garret “Garry” graduated in 1967 from Hugo High School in Hugo, Colorado.

On January 22, 1972 he was married to Charlotte A. Nusbaum in Denver, Colorado.  To this union were born three children, Michael A., Cary J., and Carla M.

Garry helped his dad on the farm, and then went to school for mechanics.  Throughout the years he worked on automobiles, and large mining equipment.  He later became a Crop Adjuster for Rain and Hail where he worked for 10+ years.

Garry was not a fan of living in the city, he was a country boy at heart.  When his children graduated from high school, he and Charlotte moved to Strasburg, Colorado where they spent 22 years living on a small farm.  Moving to Strasburg brought him great joy because he was able to introduce country living to his children and grandchildren.  He loved to go hunting, fishing, and loved being outdoors working and fixing things. He was also an avid reader of history books, his Bible, and loved to watch Westerns and War movies.  The Chosen was his favorite Bible series.  Garry was very generous, a good listener, he had a great sense of humor and easy to love.

Garry's greatest love was first the Lord Jesus Christ and then his family.  Garry cherished his family from his children, grandchildren, to his sibling, his aunts, uncles and cousins.  He had a big heart of love and shared with all.

Garry is survived by his three children, his son Michael A. Boetger of Centennial, Colorado, two daughters, Cary J. Kitchen (Nick) of Centennial, Colorado and Carla M. Boetger of Centennial, Colorado; his sister Pamela Coates (Dave) of Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Nieces Teresa Paddford (Michael) of Cheyenne Wyoming, Tonya Coates of Colorado Springs, Colorado, great nephews and great niece’s and one great grand-niece.  Aunt Myrna (Boetger) Bernard, of Butte, Montana.  And many, many cousins whom we hold near and dear to our hearts.
