George Thomas Barnard of Westminster Colorado passed peacefully at home on Monday May 10th 2021 he was 83 years old.
George was born in Franklin New Jersey to Francis Scott and Margaret Barnard February 22, 1938. George had 3 siblings Margaret Van Deusen, Charles Barnard and John Barnard who all preceded him in death.
George found and married the love of his life Judi Newman on June 8, 1985.
He worked for ATT and Lucent technologies most of his adult life and was able to retire at 51. This gave him the ability to pursue his passion for wood carving and travel with his devoted wife. He was a active member of the Colorado Carvers Club and attained the status of Master Wood Carver. He loved making little cars to give to any and all children that he ran across.
George was proud of his service in the United States Navy Reserves for eight years.
George is survived by his Wife Judi, 2 children, Karrie Adamson and Karen Smith. Four Grandchildren Jenny English, Elizabeth Heyl, Kimberly Mori and Nathan Smith. Four Great Grandchildren: Liam English, Wyatt Heyl, Emmett Heyl and Kira Mori. He also had 3 “Grandsons” By marriage that he loved and embraced as family Derek Heyl, March English and Tyler Mori.
George put family above all else and cherished each moment spent with them.
