 Gloria Elizabeth Bruno, born October 5, 1940 in Rome Georgia to Henry Daniel Cunyus and Grace Steadham Cunyus.

   Gloria grew up in Rome Georgia and graduated from Rome High school.

She then attended Piedmont Hospital School of Nursing and Georgia State College in Atlanta Georgia.

She married the love of her life, Frederick John Bruno on December 13, 1959, in Rome Georgia. They moved to Athens, Georgia in 1959, where Fred was attending the University of Georgia, School of Pharmacy. While he was attending school, Gloria worked at Athens General Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital Surgical Unit and ran the Histology Lab at the University of Georgia, school Veterinary Medicine.

   After Fred Graduated in 1963, they moved to Brick Township, New Jersey where she became co-owner, of Circle Pharmacy with Fred.

   In July 1976, they moved to Loveland Colorado where she worked at Twin Pines Nursing Home as an Office Manager and assistant administrator.  Later, she opened and operated The Dessert House in Fort Collins Colorado.

   She was co-owner of W.T. Pharmacy, Draper Drug and Columbine Drug from 1978 to 2000.

   She retired in 2000 and began to enjoy traveling, golfing, her family and friends.  She and Fred spent many months in Europe, the British Isles and around the United State.

   The light of her life were her Husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

   She was a member of The Philo Club, Foothills Service League and the Ladies Golf Leagues at The Olde Course and Mariana Butte.

   Pre-deceased by her mother, father and two Sisters, Doris Cunyus Earle and Barbara Cunyus Bevels.

   Survived by her brother, Daniel Cunyus, husband, Fred Bruno, daughters; Lisa Bruno, Christina Bruno Huff (Kelly), Grandchildren; Heather Huff (Shawn),  Josh Huff (Kelly),  Great grandson, Connor and numerous nieces and nephews.

   Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Crossroads Church in Loveland.  Cremation has been completed.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home
